Soccer Recap: Delavan-Darien Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Delavan-Darien finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Edgewood Crusaders, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Delavan-Darien can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Edgewood are ranked 24th).

The defeat snapped Delavan-Darien's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5-1 record. As for Edgewood, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-1.

Looking ahead, Delavan-Darien will take on Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Edgewood, they will face off against Sauk Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
