Basketball Recap: Amite County Find Success

Amite County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 47-42 W over the West Lincoln Bears. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Bears back in January, they had to take a 47-28 loss.

Amite County pushed their record up to 9-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely West Lincoln, Wilkinson County, and Wilkinson County. As for West Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Amite County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Lincoln, they will host Wilkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
