The Langley Saxons will head out to challenge the George C. Marshall Statesmen at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Langley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Langley will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Yorktown, who they had gone 0-8-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Saxons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Langley were the better team in the second half.

They hit Yorktown with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Holly Murphy (2), Jodie Jenkins, and Corinne Fisher.

Meanwhile, George C. Marshall fell victim to Washington-Liberty and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Generals by a score of 1-0. George C. Marshall have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Langley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for George C. Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.
