Soccer Game Preview: Pingree vs. Concord Academy

The Pingree Highlanders are taking a road trip to take on Concord Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Pingree has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Concord Academy will arrive with four straight wins.

Pingree lost 5-1 to Wheeler on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Concord Academy won against Bancroft on Wednesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Monday. Concord Academy had just enough and edged out Lexington Christian Academy 2-1. That's two games straight that Concord Academy has won by just one goal.

Concord Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-1-2. As for Pingree, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2.

Pingree might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Concord Academy in their previous meeting last Saturday. Can the Highlanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
