Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Canutillo

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Canutillo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Silver Foxes will look to defend their home pitch against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They came up short against El Paso on Friday, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 499th, while El Paso are ranked 214th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Canutillo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Chapin 2-1.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Canutillo, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-2.
