Quest Charter Academy suffers seventh straight loss at home

Recap: Quest Charter Academy Gators vs. Calvary Saints
The Quest Charter Academy Gators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Calvary 79-47. While losing is never fun, Quest Charter Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 579th, while Calvary is ranked 132nd).
Calvary was led to victory by Connor Brown and Luke Blackford. Brown dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds, while Blackford dropped a double-double on 39 points and ten rebounds. The match was Blackford's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Long, who scored 11 points.
Quest Charter Academy bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Calvary, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Quest Charter Academy will head out on the road to face off against Heyworth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvary won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tri-City at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Tri-City comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
