There's no place like home for Hillcrest Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They really took it to the Clinton Christian Academy Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-43 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

DeAngelo Nicholson was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 8-for-12 on his way to 20 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was AJ Thompson, who shot 42% from the field en route to 13 points and five boards.

Hillcrest Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Hillcrest Christian's record is now 4-2. As for Clinton Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hillcrest Christian will take on Crystal Springs in a tournament on Monday.
