Springfield is 9-1 against McDonald since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Blue Devils at 6:15 p.m.

Springfield came up short against Poland Seminary on Saturday, falling 50-26. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, McDonald entered their tilt with Memorial on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 33-29 W against the Red Devils.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for McDonald, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Everything went Springfield's way against McDonald in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, as Springfield made off with a 54-34 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
