Preview: Brownstown Central Braves vs. Carmel Greyhounds
Having just played yesterday, the Brownstown Central Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Carmel Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. Brownstown Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three matches.
Brownstown Central can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Silver Creek, posting a 82-54 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Brownstown Central has posted since December 16, 2023.
Meanwhile, Carmel opened the new year with a less-than-successful 44-31 defeat to Westfield. While losing is never fun, Carmel can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Westfield is ranked fourth).
Brownstown Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Carmel, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
