Lutheran North came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Algonac Muskrats by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Lilly Leinberger paced Lutheran North's offense, picking up seven kills. Leinberger got some help from Grace Tobey and her 19 assists. Lillie Meier controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lutheran North's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Algonac, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14-1.

Lutheran North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Utica Ford on the 13th. As for Algonac, they will host Richmond at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
