Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Griswold couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Woodland Regional Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Griswold took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Griswold still got an impressive performance from Carly Rubino, who had 29 digs and two assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodland Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leila Sheetz, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Griswold's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Woodland Regional, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-6.

As of now, neither Griswold nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
