New Braunfels Thunder had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Central Texas Christian Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Homeschool, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Selah Clayton paced New Braunfels Thunder's offense, picking up six kills. Clayton got some help from Maddison Heiser and her 11 assists. Clayton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

New Braunfels Thunder's victory bumped their record up to 12-2-1. As for Central Texas Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 17-1-1.
