Baseball Recap: San Antonio Christian Wins Going Away Against Saint Mary's Hall

San Antonio Christian barely beat Saint Mary's Hall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Barons on Friday. The Lions have beaten the Barons the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Barons has come to flipping the script.

Nolan Amerman was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Kelly, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Amerman wasn't the only one making solid contact: San Antonio Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The Lions are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

San Antonio Christian's record is now 6-11. As for Saint Mary's Hall, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
