Basketball Game Preview: Winnebago Indians vs. Omaha Nation Chiefs

The Winnebago Indians will square off against the Omaha Nation Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Winnebago easily dispatched Walthill on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Winnebago fell just short of Pender by a score of 47-45 on Tuesday. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Omaha Nation suffered their biggest loss since January 6th on Tuesday. They were beaten by Bancroft-Rosalie 81-51. The defeat continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Omaha Nation fell to 2-1. As for Winnebago, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
