It was a good run, but Gahr unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Orange Lutheran Lancers by a score of 4-3.

Jake Ourique was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Gahr saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Kemp, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Gahr's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Orange Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Gahr wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-6 loss against Huntington Beach on the 7th. As for Orange Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Rancho Cucamonga on the 15th.
