Softball Recap: Chula Vista Takes a Loss

Chula Vista's last matchup with Olympian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Spartans lost 11-1 to the Eagles. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Chula Vista's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Olympian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-12-1.

Coming up, Chula Vista will take on Mar Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympian, they will face off against Southwest EC at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Southwest EC's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Olympian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
