Soccer Recap: Rancho Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rancho can now relate to. They lost 6-1 to the Spring Valley Grizzlies on Tuesday. Rancho were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Omar Rios Higareda, who's now up to three this season.

Rancho's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7-3. As for Spring Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-7 record this season.

Rancho does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spring Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 3rd.
