Soccer Recap: Rancho Falls Short of Spring Valley in the Playoffs

Rancho and Spring Valley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Rancho had to settle for second. They came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 6-1. Rancho just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Omar Rios Higareda, who's now up to three this season.

Rancho's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-3. As for Spring Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-0-7 record this season.

Rancho does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spring Valley, they will take on Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
