Preview: Valley Forge vs. Parma
Parma are packing up and hiking across state lines for their match on Friday. They will challenge Valley Forge on the road at 7:00 PM. Parma don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-63, which was the final score in Parma's tilt against Homedale last Thursday. Parma were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-43.
Meanwhile, Valley Forge dodged a bullet, finishing off Rocky River 28-27. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Valley Forge's win lifted them to 5-2 while Parma's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll see if Valley Forge's success rolls on or if Parma are able to steal their positive momentum.
