Soccer Recap: Galileo Comes Up Short

Galileo lost against Altavista back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons lost 5-1 to the Colonels. Galileo have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Galileo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Altavista, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galileo will welcome Randolph-Henry at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Randolph-Henry will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Galileo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Altavista, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nelson County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
