Piedmont won the last time they faced Irvington and Xavier Henderson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Highlanders put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 40-15 win on Friday for which the team can thank Henderson, who rushed for 108 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Piedmont's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Although Irvington took the loss, they still got scores from Anthony Jovel and Ruben Sanchez.

Piedmont's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Irvington, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Piedmont has already played their next matchup, a 39-35 win against Washington on the 24th. As for Irvington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 30-0 victory against Newark Memorial on the 24th.
