 Legacy was handed a two-run  defeat in their last  match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Boulder  on Wednesday. The Legacy Lightning were the clear victor by  a  12-1 margin over the Boulder Panthers. That's more bragging rights for Legacy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Christopher Jewett tossed a big game,   striking out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits (and not a single walk).
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Ethan Sanchez, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Colton Shuck was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 On Boulder's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Gavin Nguyen, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.

Brighton is coming into the  contest with three straight  losses at home,  meaning Boulder will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win.
