Soccer Game Preview: First Baptist Christian vs. Logos Christian Academy

The First Baptist Christian Knights will face off against the Logos Christian Academy Lions at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

First Baptist Christian had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Unity Christian.

Meanwhile, Logos Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-1 to Quad Cities Christian on Friday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Logos Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

First Baptist Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Logos Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
