Softball Recap: Rincon/University Takes a Loss

Rincon/University kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Flowing Wells Caballeros by a score of 5-4. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 18 in a row.

Rincon/University saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Beudot, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

The win got Flowing Wells back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Rincon/University will head out on the road to face off against Canyon del Oro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Flowing Wells, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Thatcher on the 26th.
