Baseball Game Preview: East Forsyth Eagles vs. Southeast Guilford Falcons

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when East Forsyth Eagles duke it out with Southeast Guilford Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Forsyth will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

East Forsyth had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Parkland on Tuesday. East Forsyth blew past Parkland 13-1. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Southeast Guilford might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Southwest Guilford who claimed the real prize. Southeast Guilford took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southwest Guilford. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Forsyth's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Southeast Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
