The Strawberry Crest Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Durant 49-19. Strawberry Crest has not had much luck with Durant recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Strawberry Crest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Katya King, who scored eight points. Genesis Suazo was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Mikaiah Hallback continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Durant, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Elani-hazel Randall, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Strawberry Crest has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Durant, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
