Lutheran's dynamic duo of Noah Henkel and Jordan Kirby proved tough for Ocean View Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Henkel threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns and Kirby had 147 yards receiving. Jose Banuelos helped Lutheran's passing attack out by catching three balls for 72 yards.
Ron Allen's team's Henkel and Kirby have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Henkel has thrown for 811 yards this season, while Kirby, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 38 catches for 521 yards. Smith from Ron Loewenthal's team leads the league in rushing with 1262 yards.
Smith broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 65-yard scamper against the Knights.
