After soaring to a 22-point victory in their last game, Ingram Moore came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of Llano by a score of 24-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Ingram Moore has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Comfort beat Florence 37-32 on Tuesday.
Ingram Moore bumped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.8 points per game. As for Comfort, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.
Ingram Moore came up short against Comfort in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 34-28. Can Ingram Moore avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
