Baseball Recap: Mountain Island Charter Comes Up Short

The Mountain Island Charter Raptors came up short against the Charlotte Latin Hawks on Thursday and fell 6-1. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain Island Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Featherstone, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Mountain Island Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Charlotte Latin, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Island Charter will face off against Pine Lake Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Charlotte Latin, they will challenge Cannon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
