Flag Football Game Preview: Seaside Spartans vs. North Salinas Vikings + Official Tickets

The Seaside Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the North Salinas Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Seaside and four for North Salinas.

On Tuesday, Seaside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-8 to Marina.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Salinas' offense. They were dealt a 56-0 loss at the hands of North Monterey County on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 719th, while the Condors are ranked 301st).

North Salinas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Seaside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Seaside barely slipped by North Salinas in their previous matchup back in September, winning 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
