Sullivan comes up short on the road against South Knox

Sullivan had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell victim to a tough 8-2 loss at the hands of the South Knox Spartans on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sullivan of the 12-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Sullivan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Mason, who went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will take on North Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Knox, they will head out on the road to square off against Owen Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
