Baseball Recap: Thomasville Wins Going Away Against North Rowan

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Stokes, Thomasville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 22-11 margin over the North Rowan Cavaliers. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Matthew Bankhead was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Travail Barnes, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Thomasville's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for North Rowan, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Thomasville will take on rival West Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Rowan is set to challenge their familiar foe East Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
