Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Isaac Hudson and Mathias Baluyot Lead University City to Victory + How To Watch

University City won the last time they faced Monte Vista and things went their way on Friday too. The Centurions snuck past the Monarchs with a 68-63 victory.

Leading University City to victory were Mathias Baluyot and Isaac Hudson. Baluyot shot 67% from the field to rack up 22 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Hudson dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Those 17 points gave Hudson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeein Kim, who went 7-for-11 en route to 14 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: University City was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

University City's record now sits at 2-3. As for Monte Vista, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
