Potomac Senior barely beat Freedom the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

Potomac Senior's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Potomac Senior has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gar-Field on the 20th. After both having extra time off, Freedom and Hylton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
