Volleyball Recap: DeLand-Weldon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

DeLand-Weldon lost against Arthur-Okaw Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell just short of the Conquering Riders by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, DeLand-Weldon sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-14.

DeLand-Weldon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. DeLand-Weldon will challenge Decatur Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they will square off against Urbana University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
