Soccer Game Preview: Chaminade vs. Harvard-Westlake

Chaminade hasn't had much luck against Harvard-Westlake recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chaminade Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Chaminade and Bishop Alemany settled for a 1-1 draw.

Chaminade's goal came courtesy of Zach Meyer, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Harvard-Westlake's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of St. Francis by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolverines came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Golden Knights are ranked 280th).

Harvard-Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-2. Chaminade's draw makes their record 3-11-3 this season.
