Baseball Recap: West Panthers vs. Taylorsville Warriors
West extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 2-19. They lost 17-2 to the Taylorsville Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 on Tuesday.

As for Taylorsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games.
On Taylorsville's side, Ryne Lageschulte made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Lageschulte has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Taylorsville beat West by a score of 13-3 on Friday.
