Baseball Recap: Liberty County Takes a Loss

Liberty County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 9-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Liberty County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cayson Evans, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Liberty County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Bay Haven Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Liberty County will square off against Opp at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will be playing at home against Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
