Who's up and who's down

There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. We'll tackle that and more in this week's report.

Can't Touch This

Stevens's 19 - 0 win over Newport last week had a lot to do with the leadership of junior Keaghan McAllister. McAllister earned three touchdowns and 211 yards rushing the ball. In fact, our algorithms singled out McAllister as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.

This Week's Big Showdown

One of last week's main attractions was the confrontation between Londonderry and Salem, 7th and 9th in the power rankings, respectively. Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Londonderry beat Salem 28 - 21. Londonderry saw its record improve to 2-0 and its power rank jump six places as a result.

No Stoppin 'Em

The match between Goffstown and Nashua North last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 70 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Nashua North took its contest against Goffstown by a conclusive 48 - 22 score. The win boosted Nashua North a satisfying seven spots in the power rankings.
