Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reed). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the McQueen Lancers 49-7 on the road. Considering the Raiders have won three contests by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reed to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nishaan Bajwa, who threw for 100 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 39 yards. Mitchell Bertolino was in the mix as well, providing Reed with two touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Reed was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Reed wouldn't let McQueen keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Reed can thank Caleb Pitcher and Oscar Casarez for forcing both of them.
The victory made it two in a row for Reed and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for McQueen, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.
Reed didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 52-20 win vs. Reno on the 27th. McQueen has also already played their next game, a 45-26 defeat against Bishop Manogue on the 27th.
