Softball Recap: Georgetown Visitation Prep Find Success

Georgetown Visitation Prep's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Holton-Arms, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Cubs in their matchups with Holton-Arms: they've now won three in a row.

Holton-Arms' batters probably weren't too happy with Sami Farmer, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (she gave up a single walk). Those eight strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Farmer.

At the plate, Georgetown Visitation Prep's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caitlin O'Connor, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave O'Connor a new career-high.

The victory got Georgetown Visitation Prep back to even at 3-3. As for Holton-Arms, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
