Volleyball Recap: Doss Comes Up Short

Doss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jeffersontown Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Doss' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Jeffersontown, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16.

Doss and Jeffersontown will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Dragons see the court they'll take on Waggener at 5:30 p.m. on October 7. As for Jeffersontown, their break will end when they face Eminence at 7:00 p.m. on October 6.
