Volleyball Recap: Cameron Parry Key Part of Team Effort in Golden Eagles Win

With a playoff win on the line, Big Walnut rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Whetstone Braves by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

While Big Walnut might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Whetstone scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 25-23.

Big Walnut got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Parry out in front who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs gave Parry a new career-high.

The win got Big Walnut back to even at 11-11. As for Whetstone, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Coming up, Big Walnut will take on Pickerington North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whetstone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
