It was fun while it lasted, but Hiland's undefeated season came to an end after 15 games on Saturday. They took a 59-45 bruising from the Harvest Prep Warriors. The loss put an end to the Hawks' undefeated start to the season.

Harvest Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ephraim Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Daniels, who went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hiland fell to 15-1. As for Harvest Prep, their record is now 11-8.

Hiland is taking a road trip to challenge Ridgewood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgewood is on a three-game streak of home wins, Hiland a eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Harvest Prep, they will square off against Dublin Coffman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvest Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Dublin Coffman likes a good challenge.
