Volleyball Recap: Tolman Wins Going Away Against Randolph

After losing to Randolph the last time they met, Tolman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

While Tolman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-24.

Hayson Ortiz paced Tolman's offense, picking up 20 kills. Ortiz got some help from Jean-Lucas Barroso and his 41 assists. Finally, Bara Diop kept Tolman's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Tolman's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Tolman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randolph, they will head out on the road to square off against Milton at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
