Basketball Game Preview: Haslett Vikings vs. Flushing Raiders

The Haslett Vikings will challenge the Flushing Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, everything went Haslett's way against Fowlerville as Haslett made off with a 69-44 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Flushing waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-51 W against the Dragons.

Flushing's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games. As for Haslett, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
