Softball Recap: Paramus Find Success

While Paramus's victory against Fort Lee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bridgemen 7-6. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Paramus' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Fort Lee, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Paramus will challenge Cliffside Park at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fort Lee, they will be playing at home against Westwood at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
