Volleyball Recap: Gordon Lee Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Gordon Lee won the last time they faced North Murray and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 2-0.

While Gordon Lee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Emma Young paced Gordon Lee's offense, picking up 12 kills. Young got some help from Whitney Blaylock and her 22 assists. Blaylock was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Gordon Lee's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. As for North Murray, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
