Baseball Recap: Mesilla Valley Christian School Takes a Loss

If Mesilla Valley Christian School was feeling good fresh off their 23-2 takedown of Dora last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mesilla Valley Christian School lost 16-5 to the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors on Friday.

Mesilla Valley Christian School saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremiah Sullivan, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. Sullivan is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Mesilla Valley Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Santa Teresa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Mesilla Valley Christian School will challenge Magdalena at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Teresa, they will square off against Hozho Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
