Soccer Recap: Palmview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Roma last Friday, Palmview came back down to earth. The Palmview Lobos fell just short of the Martin Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Palmview's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Martin, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmview will square off against Cigarroa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Martin, they will face off against Juarez-Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
